What is on the list

Thirty-six things: turkey, gravy, stuffing, cranberry, the wishbone, the long table, going back for seconds, the leftovers, the nap. It is a list of things that happen at a table rather than a list of nouns, which is what makes it playable by people who are sitting at one.

Thirty-six words for 24 squares is 1,251,677,700 possible cards, so a family of twelve gets twelve different ones.

Twelve cards, and how many you actually need

One card a player. The count control goes to 120, and at two to a sheet that is a great deal of paper, so it is worth setting it to the number of people who will actually be there. Four to a sheet halves the paper and makes the squares smaller; the press will not let it get so small that the words stop being readable, and says so instead.
