Housey

Privacy

Housey deals every card in your own browser and writes the file there. Nothing you choose on this site is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to be sent: the settings you pick, the words you type into a list and the files you take never leave the machine you are reading this on.

What is collected

Nothing. This site has no account, no newsletter, no comments and no form. It does not ask for your name or your email address and it has no way to store either. The word list you type into the box is read by code running in the page you are looking at, used to deal the cards, and forgotten when you close the tab.

What the server sees

Serving a web page necessarily involves your browser asking a server for it, and that request carries your IP address and the name of your browser. That is true of every site on the web and it is how the page reaches you. Those requests are handled by the hosting provider in the ordinary course of serving the site.

Typefaces and files

The typeface used here is served from this site rather than from a font network, so reading a page does not tell a third party that you did. The PDF, PNG and SVG files are written by code running in your browser; no copy of any file you make here exists anywhere else.

Changes

If this ever stops being true, this page will say so before it does.
