The card is 186 by 128.3 mm, each square 37.2 by 23.85 mm, and the words set at 16.43 pt, a shade larger than the Christmas cards, because the longest word on this list is shorter.

What is on the list

Thirty-six of them: pumpkin, ghost, witch, broomstick, cobweb, cauldron, a black cat, a toffee apple, a creaking door, fog. All things rather than products, and nothing that belongs to a film studio.

Thirty-six words filling 24 squares gives 1,251,677,700 possible cards. Twelve of those is not a demanding ask, so every card in this set differs from every other in what is on it, not merely in where it sits.

Playing it with children

If the players are small, the grid control takes the card down to three by three, nine squares, eight to fill with the free one in the middle, which finishes a game in a few minutes instead of twenty. The same list fills it, and the words come out much larger because the squares are.
